MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Hello, my name is Mandala Rich, and I am the Chief Instructor for Train Kali. With over 25 years of experience in martial arts, I am one of the few higher-ranked 'Mandala' under the Pekiti Tirsia Kali World Federation. I have trained in various martial arts such as Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Haganah, and Inosanto Kali.
I have had the privilege of teaching Law Enforcement courses to various Police Departments, SWAT Roundup, NATO: National Tactical Officers Association, and OTOA: Ohio Tactical Officers Association. My focus has been on developing our self-defense program for future instructors and students worldwide.
My goal is to assist you in achieving physical and mental excellence. During our training sessions, we provide a safe environment where you can make mistakes, learn from them, and push yourself to be your best to protect yourself and your loved ones.
LAKAN GURO SHEILA
Over the past five years, I've dedicated myself to the art of Pekiti Tirsia Kali, training with Mandala Rich of Train Kali as part of the Makilas group. Within the Pekiti Tirsia Kali World Federation, I've earned the title of Lakan Guro.
My journey began in the Philippines, but I was raised in the state of Florida. My passion for understanding and preserving my heritage is the driving force behind my unwavering commitment to Kali.
In my pursuit of Kali mastery, I adopt a holistic approach, melding the realms of knowledge taxonomy, science, and art. My training places a significant emphasis on the art of effective note-taking techniques.
